Plates to design with your own colors!

If you live near me, I'd love to come to your home or office with a Willow House party in October! If you do not, then I'd love to help you with a catalog party!

Either way, when you do a party this month, IN ADDITION to the wonderful incentives offered by the company, I will give you your choice of an round Eyelet Ribbon Plate or a square Dress-Me-Up Glass Platter when you have a $250 or higher party! These are perfect for adding your team colors for a football themed party or adding ribbon or raffia for any color scheme you are using! Ribbon can be woven in and around the edges or simply tied on the corners.

Check my website http://mabel.willowhouse.com/ for company specials under Our Products.

The pictures above are some ways that Willow House showed these plates at our convention last summer and one I used at a baby shower. I'd love to sell you a whole wall-full like the picture with the colored paper behind them, or a couple to stack with other pieces like the other pictures, but I would also love to give you just one if you'd have your friends over for a girl's night out and let me show them the opportunites of Willow House!!

How About a Chicks and Chocolate Party??

I love to do theme parties and Chicks and Chocolate is always a hit! Time to de-stress, have some friends over and bring out the chocolate! Chocolate and red make a great color scheme (but then, chocolate goes with everything, doesn't it?)
Check out the Willow House Cinnabar pieces and then see how many other Willow House pieces you can find! All these were created by our designers for our convention--why don't you join me for the Willow House convention next year?

My Heritage..my Granny and me

My Granny's handmade tablecloth is part of my heritage...........I was named for my Granny Mabel Eikleberry and have cherished the tablecloth she crocheted many years ago. My grandchildren now call me "Granny", but little do they know the rich heritage of the one who came before me. As a school teacher in one-room schoolhouses in rural Arkansas, she helped many a child make his way in the world and many to college from her tutelage. She was "chief cook and bottle washer" in the Eikleberry household from cooking and sewing to crocheting to gathering eggs to keeping up with 4 children and my Grandpa. She mid-wifed and helped many other families--whatever it took. Many a child she would bring home and make a new, clean dress or shirt for wearing back to school the next day.
This tablecloth is now a part of many of my Willow House parties and I love it with the trend-forward Mario Batalia Italian Stitch dishes. I have her tablecloth and her name, but I'll never have the sheer gumption she had for living.

Favorite Chair, Pillow and Hog!

My new chair needed a pillow for my short legs and I found the perfect one to go with my F.W. Tillman original "Razorback" painting! It's the Chocolate/Spice Willow House Scroll and Stripe Pillow (the flip side of this beautiful crewelwork scroll is striped)--just wait till you see the cozy oversized matching chenile throw I'm adding for winter! ( Don't need it today, it's 91+ degreesF! ) I'll be ready to watch those Hogs play when it does get cold!

Looking for a large wall art design?

Sometimes it's quite a decision how to attractively fill space on a large wall. This wall art is a beautiful arrangement of 4 Acanthus Wall Flourishes from Willow House--each of the 4 pieces is 26 inches long and 10 1/4 inches wide. I love in the Willow House catalog page 35 how they use two of them over the outside window of the house-quite an architectural impact!
